Safeguarding adults training

Recognise and respond to abuse and neglect in adult social care — a serious subject taught with care, aligned with the Care Act 2014 and tailored to real care scenarios.

Who this course is for

All staff who work with adults in care settings or their own homes — care and support workers, senior carers, coordinators and managers. We adapt scenarios to your service type, whether residential, supported living or domiciliary care.

Delivery, duration and assessment

A half-day session delivered face-to-face or live online, built around discussion of realistic scenarios rather than slides. Understanding is checked through case-study exercises. Certificates with unique registration numbers are issued on completion, with attendance records for your evidence.

Compliance notes

Adult safeguarding is a core subject in Skills for Care's statutory and mandatory training guidance, and safeguarding effectiveness is central to CQC's assessment of every service. Most providers refresh safeguarding training at least every three years, with level and depth matched to role.
