Terms & conditions

1. Who these terms cover

These terms apply to training services provided by NUR TRAINING ACADEMY LTD (Company No. 17196907, registered in England and Wales) to organisations and individuals booking our courses ("you"). By confirming a booking you accept these terms.

2. Quotes and bookings

We respond to enquiries with a written quote covering the courses, dates, venue, delegate numbers and price. A booking is confirmed when you accept the quote and pay the deposit described below. Group minimum and maximum sizes are stated on each course page.

3. Deposits and payment

Bookings are confirmed with a 50% deposit. The balance is payable as stated on your invoice. Where fully funded training is available, payment or evidence must still be processed according to our invoice terms — our team will explain the fully funded training process when you enquire.

4. Cancellations and rescheduling

Our cancellation and refund terms — including the working-day thresholds that apply to deposits and full charges — are set out in the cancellation & refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

5. Delegate prerequisites

Some courses have prerequisites — for the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training, every delegate must complete the free Part 1 elfh e-learning before their practical session. Delegates who arrive without completed prerequisites may be unable to attend, and the place may still be chargeable.

6. Our commitments

We deliver the training described on the applicable course page with appropriately trained facilitators, and issue certificates of completion with unique registration numbers plus attendance records after each course. If we must cancel a session (for example trainer illness), we will offer priority rebooking or a refund of amounts paid for that session.

7. Your commitments

Where training is at your venue, you provide a suitable, safe space and any agreed facilities. You are responsible for the accuracy of delegate details supplied to us and for your own regulatory obligations — training supports your compliance but does not by itself discharge it.

8. Materials and intellectual property

Course materials remain our property or that of our licensors. The Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training uses the standardised national materials in line with the approved-trainer requirements. Materials may not be copied or reused for delivering training without permission.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, our total liability arising from a booking is limited to the fees paid for that booking, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits. We are not responsible for funding decisions made by scheme administrators.

10. Data protection

Personal information is handled as described in our privacy policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
